In order to be a true fashionista, you need to be up to date in all of the latest fashion styles worldwide. In order to get inspired, I love to walk around the streets of London, Paris, New York, and this month, Berlin. Last week, I went to the trendy Prenzlauer Berg to hit up some stores without any expectations. With the sun shining on my face and a Café Latte in my hand, I stumbled upon this little store called Moni Novy (which is also their brand name), in the trendy area called Hackescher Markt.

I instantly fell in love with this gorgeous red dress. What I love about this dress is that you can look sexy, but at the same time you can put on the hood (that is attached to the back) and look super cool… two dresses, two styles, and two looks, all in one!
Moni Novy’s design is exactly how I like it: elegant, cool and always extravagant.

Liebeskind Berlin: Cool and Edgy
After my first stop, my friend told me about this super hip Berlin designer, named Liebeskind Berlin. They have been famous for a while because of their unique and unmistakable leather “used look” style. All of their designs are hand made.
LaLa Berlin: Cool Femininity
Suzy Menkes, the famous British Fashion Critic said: “Hardly any other fashion label has succeeded in conveying the spirit of the German capital to the world in such an authentic way.” LaLa Berlin convinces with “cool femininity while being absolutely wearable”.
Fans of LaLa Berlin include: Claudia Schiffer, Cameron Diaz, Heidi Klum, Natalie Portman and Jessica Alba.
I find it amazing how the heart and soul of Berlin, can come alive through the designers and their style of fashion. Every ensemble is just as cool, extravagant, and edgy, as the city of Berlin.
In my opinion, the most unique closet of clothing to have, is an international one. Ladies, do not limit yourself to just one fashionable country. Spread it out, have some variety in your style. After all, don’t we all want to get stopped on the street, and be asked, “where did you get that dress??” And of course, we casually answer, “Unfortunately you can’t get this dress here…It’s from overseas.”
